Our eSIMs are data-only plans.
This means:
- Traditional phone calls and SMS via the mobile network are not supported.
- Internet-based calls and messages work normally.
You can easily use apps such as:
- FaceTime / FaceTime Audio
- iMessage
- Telegram
- Skype
- Signal
to chat and make calls. These services run entirely over your eSIMony mobile data connection and do not incur any additional charges.
Important: If you make regular phone calls or send SMS using your home SIM while abroad, roaming fees may apply. To avoid extra costs, we recommend using the internet-based services listed above.
