Error message: "This code is no longer valid"

The error message “This code is no longer valid” usually appears when the eSIM has already been fully or partially installed on your device. In this case, the QR code cannot be used again — this is completely normal.

Here’s the best way to proceed:

  1. Check whether the eSIM is already installed
    Open your device’s mobile or network settings and check if your eSIM from eSIMony is already listed. In many cases, the installation was actually completed successfully despite the error message.
  2. Delete a partially installed eSIM
    If the eSIM appears in your settings but doesn’t work correctly, delete the eSIM profile completely from your device.
  3. Scan the QR code again
    After deleting the eSIM, you can scan the QR code again and restart the installation from scratch.

Important to know: For security reasons, a QR code is intended for a single installation only. If this error appears, it usually doesn’t mean anything is broken — it simply means your device has already processed the code.
