Slow Internet connection

Slow Internet connection

If your eSIM connection is unusually slow, there are several things you can try. In many cases, the issue can be resolved quickly.

1. Check network coverage
Weak signal strength or a congested network can significantly affect speed.

  • Check the signal strength on your device
  • If possible, move to a different location (for example closer to a window, outdoors, or to a higher floor)
  • If your device supports it, try manual network selection to connect to a stronger network

2. Toggle airplane mode
Turn airplane mode on for about 10 seconds and then off again. This forces your device to reconnect to the network.

3. Restart your device
A restart resets important network processes and often improves the connection immediately.

4. Reset network settings
If the connection is still slow, resetting your network settings can help. Don’t worry: your apps and personal data will remain intact.

5. Check background apps
Some apps may be using data in the background and slowing down your connection. Enable Low Data Mode / Data Saver on your device to reduce background usage.

6. Be patient during network congestion
Mobile networks can be overloaded at peak times (for example in the evening or in popular tourist areas). In these cases, waiting a bit can sometimes make a noticeable difference.
