The validity period of your eSIMony plan starts only when you activate the eSIM in your destination country. This is convenient, as you don’t lose any valuable days before your trip begins.
Installation in advance is possible: You can install the eSIM profile right after purchase or even weeks before your trip. This is simply the first step of the setup.
The actual activation happens only once you’re in your destination country and enable data roaming for the eSIM.
Important: Your eSIM must be activated within 6 months of purchase. After that, the plan will automatically expire.
